Questions To Ask Before Buying Data

How is The Data updated and Compiled?

Many companies claim to compile their own data or update their own lists. There are many databases making their way around the internet these days- most are from 2005-2006. We take every measure to ensure the quality of our data is at it's highest. We have partners in Canada, Australia, UK, Mexico, India, Vietnam, Germany, Philippines, and China that work with us to constantly update, tele-verify and compile our databases. Click on the "Our Data" tab above to read more about our sources. Over $3.4 Million is spent on research and compiling our data each year. Hard to believe? - Read our F.A.Q. section below on how we can sell our databases at such low prices.

How do I access and manipulate the data once I purchase it?

Most data companies sell their data in CSV and MDB (Microsoft Access) format with each state or province in a separate file. This is an easy way to transport the data, however it can make it very difficult for the customer to use. Not all people have Access, and CSV programs can only open and manipulate so many records at one time. These formats make it impossible for someone to search the whole country without extensive programming knowledge. We are the only Data company that provides free software that allows you to search the entire country and export without limitations.

Who are you buying data from?

You will see companies selling data that have no phone number or address listed on their website. Even if there is an address listed, it may be a post office box in a shipping store. Method and mode of contact should be on the customers terms. Do you want to buy data from someone working out of their basement? Research your vendors and ask questions to ensure you are buying a quality product.

F.A.Q.- Frequently Asked Questions

Is this for Real? / How can you sell your data so inexpensively?

This is our most common question. There are two factors that allow us to keep our prices low. We don't have 400 employees that we have to pay to compile data. First, We acquire data from all of our sources and we outsource the compiling to our partners overseas. Second, we have two large corporate accounts that purchase data from us for their call centers. Combined, there are 800 Call center seats that use or data. As soon as an update is done to one of our products, we sell 800 copies instantly. This allows us to sell our products to the general public at the same low price.

We Recommend a PC with a minimum of: Windows XP, Hard Drive with 30gb of free space (NTFS File system), DVD DRIVE (unless you choose USB Flash), 512mb Ram
